Re: Jack Wilshere
Shame it’s panning out like most of us suspected. It’s why the consensus on here was if he signs it should only be on a pay and play deal.

*Sarcasm mode on*

What a shame. And absolutely I one saw it coming either!

*Sarcasm mode off*

Re: Jack Wilshere
Why is anyone surprised. Our downside was always far bigger then our upside. Whoever signed off 3 years on 90k a week should be shot

Re: Jack Wilshere
got to be the most frustrating player ever, so talented but no luck with injuries

on the pitch for 4 minutes against newcastle and still bags an assist. i thought here we go jacky's back then another bloody injury

hopefully can get a run of games going, could do with his creative ability

Re: Jack Wilshere
bernie, the type of ligament injuries he gets never fully clear up. it was a disaster signing

Re: Jack Wilshere
Careful bolty will be on soon telling us how he's alright and had a good long chat with him whilst pushing him up Alderton Hill.

Pekllers comments are worrying

Re: Jack Wilshere
I'm desperate for him to do well here, absolute top drawer if he can get back to what it was, and only 26.

Hopefully this injury isn't as bad as we fear it is.

Get well soon Jack

Re: Jack Wilshere
he joined us because it WASN'T a pay as you play deal

Re: Jack Wilshere

He's on a pay as you play deal.

What an absolute simpleton you are.

well , at least no one can say they are surprised. We just never learn

Re: Jack Wilshere
3 years and I imagine a nice signing on fee.
Is there ANY player who is injury prone who has shaken that off after 30yo?

geoffpikey 9:41 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
£100k per week, reported.

Yes, there may be more if he actually plays.

Whoop.

geoffpikey 9:38 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
It's ok, found out.

THREE YEARS.

geoffpikey 9:35 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
A pay as you play deal?

So, if he doesn't play club doesn't pay him?

Get real.

How long, if anyone knows, is his basic contract for?

Re: Jack Wilshere
He's on a pay as you play deal.

Well worth the risk for nothing.

Sven Roeder 8:55 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
If he was as West Ham as he professes if he isn’t fully fit for the rest of the season when he is next back he would offer to rip up his contract and retire.
Comes a time when you have to accept his chronic ankle problems aren’t going to get any better.

Hermit Road 8:51 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
As bad as our transfer business has been in the past, offering a renowned cripple a 3 year contract on massive money must rank as the worst bit of business we’ve ever done.

geoffpikey 8:26 Fri Dec 14
Re: Jack Wilshere
Thanks for the reminder he's even here.

As said, panning out in classic West Ham style. How long is his contract before we can offload?
